What can I expect as an examinee referred for an IME?
As an examinee, you can expect to participate in a background and clinical interview, and complete neuropsychological and psychological testing. As part of the evaluation, it is not uncommon for Dr. Sworowski to request permission to conduct a collateral interview with someone who knows you well. The evaluation usually involves a full day of interviewing and testing. You will be allowed to take breaks as necessary, including a break for lunch. The examination may require a second day if all testing is not completed during the first session. An IME report will be provided to the referring party.
What are the rates for IME services?
A fee schedule for IME evaluation and testimony services can be provided upon request.
